A character sketch inspired by our local pub's logo. Trust me, those guns aren't just for show either!
Just trying out a slightly different style, I wanted to make it look a little manga-ish crossed with an old colour painted photograph. Sketched on paper, then finished in Photoshop, the textures were a couple of photos of a plaster wall and some custom texture brushes.

Thanks for the comment, I really enjoyed doing this one. I guess I was ad-libbing a bit, since Mexico was a Spanish colony for a few centuries :)

Cheers Wild, and yeah, haven't been in partly because of work, and partly because I keep forgetting it's on a Wednesday night now. I keep remembering during the day. But I invariably doze off in front of the TV on a Wednesday night, it's my middle-of-the-week nap. Think it's an age thing lol.

yeah its sometimes hard to make the shift from what your used too.

on another note i just took a look at your blog and enjoyed reading it, its alot easyer to see the wip's of the images over there as there uploaded all together and dont get lost in peoples comments and its easier to see what changed and what didn't when there all together like that :)
